This qualification is designed for individuals who require further foundation skills development to prepare for workforce entry or vocational training pathways.
It is suitable for individuals who require:
- a prevocational pathway to employment and vocational training
- reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication and learning skills at Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3
- entry level digital technology and employability skills
- a vocational training and employment plan.
Foundation Skills Training Package qualifications may not be listed as an entry requirement for vocational qualifications.

At the end of the course the student will have fulfilled the necessary competencies required to gain the ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (IT Strategy and Organisational Development).
- After achieving the ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (IT Strategy and Organisational Development), candidates may undertake ICT Vocational Graduate Certificate qualifications or other higher education sector qualifications

All Students MUST
- Be 18 years of age or over
- Have completed NSW Higher School Certificate (Year 12) or equivalent
- Have an English ability at the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) level 5.5 or equivalent.

Total 14 units must be completed in order to successfully achieve this qualification. 8 core units of competency AND 6 elective units of competency. 25% of the course is online.
